We’re finally on our way. It’s been a busy few weeks getting organised.  With the recent law changes to holiday renting in Paris our original apartment was cancelled on us so we had to madly search for another. This wasn’t as simple as it seems as we wanted 2 bed & 2 bathroom and I had my heart set on staying in the Marais area. After many nights trawling the internet we found a place which was large enough, but doesn’t have the charm of the original. I’m excited as it’s in a residential block, set back from the road and is accessible by a big wooden door/gate which opens to a private courtyard. It reminds me of a secret garden. I've always been intrigued by these doors and courtyards, trying to sneak a peek if one happens to be open for a few seconds.  Here’s some pics from the internet of the street view (brown door) and part of the courtyard 

We’re waiting patiently for our flight, enjoying some dinner and well earned bubbles in the lounge. Au revoir, we’ll see you in Paris 💋
