Today started off very early, 4 am we were both sending work emails and mouching around the apartment drinking coffee.
I went for a walk this morning to get supplies, namely more nespresso pods and a few bits for the fridge while Ken worked. I do love the Marais area, it’s familiar sights bringing a smile to my face. Spring is in the air, finally after a slow start, and the flowers are all in bloom.
We decided to go for a walk along the back streets to Les Enfants du Marché which is an under cover daily market where you can also have lunch or dinner. It’s only small but the smells from the food was amazing and there was a happy vibe from the vendors and shoppers alike. We decided to share Mussels cooked with Gorgonzola and Leek as well as Octopus cooked in garlic. Both served with a baguette and a nice glass of organic white wine and we were in heaven.
