Frogs legs, sushi, shopping and for a change eating and drinking

It's been a busy 2 days.  Yesterday we went to Côte Mas which is home to Paul Mas and Arrogant Frog wines which Sue and I both like to drink at home. The upstairs restaurant wasn't open so they had tapas style served in the cave (cellar door). We weren't expecting much and were pleasantly surprised.  We had panko crumbed frogs legs, gravlax of the most delicious salmon, sardine rillette with shallots and finished with the lightest creme brûlée The presentation and taste was fabulous and matched with some lovely Arrogant Frog wine the lunch was perfect.  After such a big lunch we decided to just have some oysters from our local oyster man, a baguette and a demi bottle of Mumm. It doesn't get much better than that.

Today we did some local shopping and decided to try the local Sushi place.  The sushi was made fresh to order, I ordered Californian roll and it was bursting with salmon, tuna, prawn and avo, not a crab stick in sight. I think it may have ruined me, it will be hard to find sushi so good back home.  Who knew French sushi could be so good?

This afternoon we went for a drive to saint-chinian for a drive in the country. Saint-chinian is in the mountains so the views are quite spectacular.

Tonight we went to what was my favorite restaurant last time Les Palmier, it didn't disappoint, the food was amazing. Possibly the best meal so far.
