Give it the berries - unplugged

We left Trebes this morning with a lot of fanfare. "Someone" forgot to unplug the shore power as we were leaving. Mick was driving and wondering why the boat was going backward and forward like a rubber band. Leisa and I were wondering why the German people on the boat nearby where pointing and shouting. Ken was saying to Mick "Give it the Berry’s" wondering why Mick wasn’t taking off. Suddenly it dawned on us that the shore power is still plugged in so Ken grabbed the cord and pulled and was shouting at Mick that the cord was wrapped around the prop. He kept on pulling and then a wheel popped out of the canal, the cord was wrapped around the bikes and had tipped the bikes into the canal as we were trying to leave. As Ken kept pulling 2 bikes came out of the water. Well we just lost it and were hysterical. Fortunately the bikes had stopped us from pulling the whole power pole off the wharf and into the canal. 

We had 2 bikes stolen during the night so Ken was shouting there’s our 2 stolen bikes. It took a while to realize it was the new bikes that had just been replaced. This has kept us hysterical all day !! Each time we retell it we cry laughing.
