The past few months has been spent planning our big trip next year but I've had to stop and focus my planning time on a quick trip to Tokyo!! It's never been on my bucket list and only came about as Ken has some business meetings, of course there's no show without punch so off we go.
We're staying at Courtyard by Marriot in the Ginza area. I'm looking forward to it as they have been amazing at answering my dozens of emails with questions about absolutely everything!
I've found the planning really difficult as I know nothing of Japan and find the words written in English quite challenging as they often look the same - Asakusa Akihabara Abracadabra, okay I made the last one up, but you get my drift. Also the fact that I've only had 4 weeks to get organised.
We've booked 2 foodie tours, one of the Fish Market and an evening The best of Izakaya tour which I'm hugely excited about.
After our evening tour we are booked in for a show at Robot Restaurant which I think we'll either love or hate 😬
We leave on Tuesday 26th September and arrive early on 1st October so just a quick trip, a bit of a taster.
